I call it day one and the days leading to day one because this could have been done in one day but I instead just spent 30min a day and never really got to my project!

So “today” I cruised around on Ebay and found a domain name that caught my attention, http://www.rescuemydebt.com and it was combined with a .org domain name, I bought the two domain names for £4.99 or $7.50. My plan is to not host it on it’s own server because I only want it to make money in one months time when flipping the website.

I attached the website as an add on domain in C-Panel and build a really plain website on it (not finished yet by the way). Let us call the site our project site. On the project site I plan on writing about 5 articles that are all about debt relief / management, there will also be download links for PPI forms. Once finished the project site will have a contact us, home, join and all that jazz.

For day one we will only buy the domain name, build the site. Just for the fun of it I went to google and added my site to the search list, and got the reminder that it will take 4-6 weeks. To my surprise, 20 minutes later googles added the homepage, unedited with almost no information on it. So step 1 after creating your homepage, go to http://www.google.com/addurl/ and add that domain!

The site I created is very plane with not too much information and adds on it. After all, it will not be mine for long!

I will be doing some more tweaking to it here and there but the look of the website is not that important. Enough information, a list, backlinks, and articles about the site will be our key here.

Oh yes, before I forget, I use a mac computer do do my website and marketing, purely because it is faster and I use Adobe Dream weaver to desighn the website.
